Each leave me with a different feeling. So I guess both are good.
what feelings? as long as neither is bordom, i guess it's good.
I think you cropped too closely. I think the really enchanting thing about the first photograph is the length of sand.
If I were to crop it, I would be careful to maintain that depth and length....Less sky than sand....
